I had a made arrangements with a bride to do her portraits at her Grandmother's house. She had wanted photos on the front porch where she and her Granny had spent countless happy hours.
Which we did, then I asked her if we could do some out by the barn.
So her Dad and I carried Grandma's sofa and took this one. It is one of my favorites. This is the second barn on that spot. The first burned and this one was built by the community and finished on the day her Grandfather was born. The best part of working with people on photos is hearing wonderful stories and histories.
Her wedding was in a church built in the 1840s where everyone in her family had been married. A very beautiful tradition.
